Article arrow_drop_down

In recent weeks, the hip-hop community has been abuzz with the unfolding drama between rappers Remy Ma and Papoose, a couple once celebrated for their enduring partnership. The turmoil began when Remy Ma publicly accused Papoose of engaging in an affair with world champion boxer Claressa Shields.

Papoose & Remy Ma

On December 12, 2024, Remy Ma took to Instagram to share alleged text messages between Papoose and Shields. In these exchanges, Shields expressed frustration over Papoose’s lack of communication, stating: “You are the one who is married! If you can’t at least sleep on the phone with me or be with me in person… it shouldn’t be a big deal to let me know you made it home safe.”

Remy Ma’s caption accompanying the screenshots was scathing: “Papoose dum ass fell asleep on the phone with @claressashields Laying in my house he refuses to leave. This bitch supposed to be a world champion boxer and got scary ass hung up soon as she heard my voice Nowwww I’m telling everything ohhhh and babygirl u not the only one.”

In response, Claressa Shields commented, accusing Remy of hypocrisy by referencing alleged infidelities on her part: “How a woman with 2 boyfriends mad at a man that has a girlfriend. @remyma if I ain’t the only one why the hell you tagging me????”

Papoose also addressed the situation, accusing Remy Ma of repeated infidelities and labeling her a narcissist. He stated: “Sad to say that @remyma is a narcissist. She chose to cheat repeatedly. Now that I finally moved on, she’s playing the victim… I have requested a divorce numerous times. She’d rather clout chase on social media than handle this like civilized adults.”

The public exchange continued with Remy Ma sharing additional screenshots and messages, further intensifying the situation. She accused Shields and her publicity team of spreading false narratives to tarnish her reputation and portrayed Papoose as manipulative.

This unfolding drama has captivated fans and observers, marking a significant shift from the couple’s previously admired relationship. As both parties continue to air their grievances publicly, the situation remains fluid, with new developments emerging regularly.
